Helsinki is small. I signed up for Zipiko today and then shared a taxi from NOK house with two of the founders this afternoon.

sure, Helsinki is not huge, but if you hang out at Nokia House for long enough you are bound to meet some of the key movers and shakers. You were there too;-)
true, NoHo is in Espoo, but I think "Helsinki" is more of a bigger, non-physical place concept in this context;-) Reminds me of when we announced the HP Bazaar program back in 1999 and Carly said that we are opening the first center in Helsinki, the mobile silicon valley (those were the days;-) Anyway, City of Helsinki called and wanted to know more, but they lost interest once I told them that we were actually in Espoo... Guess it just validates the original statement of Helsinki being small;-)
It is not only Helsinki that's small, but so is the World - I tumbled upon Zipiko's site the first time an hour ago, discussed them with Teemu Kurppa, and now it seems that Nokia is about to acquire them! :)
I hope somebody is taking you downtown - you don't want to miss Helsinki's nightlife.
Husssssh.... Nokia asked for an NDA;-) Not allowed to tell you who was there or if the meeting took place in the famous Beijing meeting room right next to the lobby;-) Or not. But, yes, you meet a lot of interesting people when hanging out at Nokia House... Did you see that TechCrunch UK also spotted Zipiko, guess that's where Nokia found out too: http://twurl.nl/1tdiqo
You mean Zipiko, the site who's Google entry says "BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA."? looks a little too early, especially after Nokia's just taken in Plazes (and as yet not done a lot with it publicly)
@peter was sitting right next to TechCrunch UK when Mike was blogging on Dopplr and mentioned to him about the most interesting startups ArcticStartup is following including Zipiko =)

Hey, much thanks for the ride back to town. It was good to meet a fellow mobile web adventurer. Let's go push some boundaries.

and seems that you Google guys are pretty good at stumbling upon cool new startups as well, so it's not only Nokia;-)

@dsample BETA is the new black. If it's not BETA, how good can the service really be? ;-)

Just kidding, of course.
However, it is very cool to see interesting new companies emerging from Finland.
